Encourage active learning

The case method provides an opportunity for the development of key
               skills such as:

                    • communication,

                    • group working and
                    • problem solving

Furthermore it augments the students’ enjoyment of the topic and

               their desire to learn.

               Problems

The issue or problem statement should be a clear, consise statement of
exactly what needs to be addressed in the case study. Problems require
a solution before an organisation’s performance can improve.
Consequently, you have to decide what the main issues/problems are

and this may be aided by asking yourself the following questions:

               1. What are the issue(s)/problem(s) in the case study?
Identifying the facts of the case will allow you to begin

appreciating the problems facing the organisation and allow

you to identify what are the core problems.
