Prologue
“You should write a book, if only to exorcise this
ordeal,” was the advice my consul gave me in 2002.
The idea was to exorcise the darkness that had
pervaded my life. It became a 900-page document
about the fraud I was the victim of. Over the years,
I wrote and wrote… then reviewed, paragraph by
paragraph, until the overwhelming emotions
dissolved, as I used the strategies and techniques I
had learned, and the new ones that came my way.
Although the
900 pages never
got published, I
was asked to
extract the parts
dealing with my
illegal arrest, my
time in jail in maximum security, for a crime I had
not committed. People were asking: What was it
like to be in jail?
I published Jailed by Fraud: The Journal. It was the
first volume of what I anticipated to be a trilogy.
The next volume would be about the legal fraud
and the justice-in-name only system, and the third
one about the silver lining behind the experience.
