% OF SELF-PERFORMED WORK the city’s central business district, but its configuration on the
55% property also presented logistical challenges.
The existing entrance and control desk at the southeast corner
of the property would no longer have adequate sight lines to the
expanded program spaces on the opposite end of the building.
By relocating the main entrance to the west side of the expanded
facility, the new control desk will provide sight lines to all major
program spaces within the existing building and the addition.
New amenities include a 20,500 sf double gymnasium—space
enough to be set up for two basketball courts, four volleyball
courts, or six pickleball courts. The three-lane walking/running
track is elevated and circles the perimeter of the gymnasium.
