% OF SELF-PERFORMED WORK
35% To provide a world-class facility for this ambitious music program,
FGM Architects and its associate architect, HGA, collaborated
with the College in a phased renovation/addition project.
Armerding Hall, a 51,000 sf former science building, was
renovated to provide a 100-seat recital hall, music classrooms,
practice rooms, and faculty and administrative offices.
Immediately to the west of Armerding, a new 29,000 sf addition
will house a 550-seat concert hall, rehearsal room and a gracious
lobby to welcome visitors. The elongated lobby between the
existing Armerding Building and the Concert Hall addition will
act as a gateway, knitting together these campus precincts.
