Events in the Regions

In the spring of 2017, FGM made a 5-year commitment to the University of Illinois at Urbana-
Champaign to sponsor a scholarship to an Illinois resident graduate student. The scholarship will
be given out each spring and will be known as the FGM Scholar. Congratulations to David
O’Donough in earning the inaugural scholarship. Part of the award is an offer of a summer
internship and were happy to have David join us.

There were many social gatherings over the last year.
In May, the Northern Region held another Cinco De
Mayo party, which included Mexican music and
authentic Mexican foods.

August was a very busy social month for FGM.
John Ochoa once again hosted a Texas
Hold’em event at his house. Everyone’s poker
face was in full force and the night ended with
Chris Grandy, David O’Donough, Katherine
Kimmel and Elba Villalobos taking the top spots.

Michael Jordan paid a visit to his new restaurant
in the lower level of our office building in Oak
Brook. The Northern Region held an office wide
Happy Hour there enjoying the delicious
appetizers and a few drinks.
