Also, with the assistance of the Marketing Staff, “Behind
the Studio,” was created. This is a vehicle for FGM to
humanize staff across all the offices of the firm. FGM’s
new and improved internal newsletter highlights the
details behind the design and what it means to be an

Happenings in the Regions
The new Oak Brook Commons area was completed and dedicated in April 2016. This new area
in the Oak Brook Office added a large space to gather for lunch, social events, meeting space
and all-around multipurpose area for the office and the firm. On a daily basis, the space is a pin
up area for design critiques and a place to showcase the work being completed in the office.
Firm-wide events like staff training, region potlucks and hosting Cal Poly Architecture students
learning about 21 Century Learning Environments have already taken place.
