ALDI – MASTER PLANNING
The second year of planning focused on increasing their existing 230,000 sf campus to a projected
410,000 sf total campus to support an employee increase from their existing 440 to an estimated
830 employees. The proposed plan would include an additional office tower, specialty support
spaces to include kitchens and sampling rooms and amenities such as a work café, auditorium
and an elevated bridge to connect the new development to the north to the existing campus
buildings.

We hope to receive direction from the office of the presidents on the master plan and move into
schematic design during the 2017 fiscal year.

WJE – JANNEY TECHNICAL CENTER (JTC)
Another long-term client for whom FGM had previously completed an administrative renovation
was Wiss Janney Elstner. FGM was asked to design their $22M expansion of the new Janney
Technical Center on their corporate campus. Design was completed in FY 2016 and construction
began in the fall of 2016. The building consists of a variety of different lab spaces, offices and a
large structural lab to support their consulting business. A new link to the existing building will be
used as a gathering space and museum to display the company’s history.
