Another point John discussed in his Presidents’ report is our Strategic Leadership Committee
concluded the practice area needed a dedicated leader. In late 2015, we retained a recruiting
agency to begin a search for someone who offered experience within the corporate world and
had contacts within the industry.
After an extensive search, we recruited Scot Fairfield to lead the practice. Just like our other
practice area leaders, he will live, breathe and wake up each morning thinking about the
corporate practice. We are also in discussion with a Design Principal with a corporate portfolio
who will also contribute to the marketing efforts.
As demonstrated in the chart below minimal dedicated marketing efforts have been expended
without a Corporate Practice Area Leader, however we know moving forward, this will change.
