4. ACKNOWLEDGE THE ACCEPTANCE OF EXHIBIT C – PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK ENCLOSED IN THIS
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IF DESIGNER TAKES EXCEPTION TO ANY OF THE SERVICES THAT ARE
REQUESTED, IDENTIFY EXCEPTIONS AND PROVIDE A DETAILED EXPLANATION.

FGMA acknowledges the acceptance of EXHIBIT C – Project Scope of Work enclosed in this
Request for Proposal. We take no exception to any of the services that are requested.

We do offer the following additions and clarifications as described below:

                Schematic Design (SD)
                9. We believe the engineering disciplines should be introduced in this phase of the work.
This allows early feedback so that the design developed in this phase has some early
                       engineering design input.

                Design Development (DD)
                  5. Engineering disciplines will be developed and coordinated into the deign process….
                  8. Add…
                      • Produce interior material and color palettes on sample boards
                  9. Continue the weekly meetings in this phase and have a final design development
meeting at the end of this phase.

                Construction Documents (CD)
                  5. Provide count of anticipated site visits required during the CD phase.
We believe 3 to 4 site visits may be required during this phase. FGMA may also request
site visits during the two prior phases so that we may verify any existing conditions during
the development of the design. Due to FGMA’s close proximity to the project site we
would not have any additional expenses for any potential visits.
                  6. Prepare any early release bid packages that the team deems necessary to accommodate
the overall project schedule. These releases are included within our base proposal.
                  7. FGMA would request that any consultant hired by AM King use REVIT as their
instrument of service. We work exclusively in REVIT and having the consultants in the
same program facilitates better document coordination and a smoother work flow. This
is especially important for MEP and Structural engineering.
                  8. We would suggest at least 6 team meetings (one every other week) during this phase so
that questions and issues can be resolved by the entire team.
