The Contract Administration (CA)
• The Contract Administration (CA) fee is based on a 52-week construction duration. FGMA would request that this
fee be re-evaluated and negotiated once an actual construction duration and a specific scope of services can be
determined between AM king and FGMA.
• Contract Administration includes a bi-weekly site visit combined with an OAC meeting, review of shop drawings,
response to RFI’s and clarifications during the entire CA process, punch list walk-thru's and punch list
documentation, 11-month walk thru and documentation.
Management of Sub-Designers
• Any consultant that is assigned to FGMA would incur a 10% cost of that consultant to FGMA for the management
of the Subcontractor.
• The coordination of all consultants is included in our base proposal.
Additional Consultants
• FGMA believes the following consultants may/will be needed for this project. We would like to discuss these with
AM King.
o Surveying – Has the property been recently surveyed?
o Civil Engineering – Most municipalities require a recently completed survey of the proposed project site.
o Landscape – There looks to be a need for some plantings around the perimeter of the new addition.
o Food Service Consultant – The development of a coffee bar/café could require additional expertise in that
offering.
o Acoustical Consultant – With the creation of a large two-story atrium space an acoustical engineer’s
expertise would be recommended.
