ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First and foremost, praises and thanks to God Almighty for His showers of blessing
throughout the duration of my internship to finish practice teaching successfully.
I would like to express my deep and sincere gratitude to our internship advisor Dr.
Dennis Dumrique for his expert advices and encouragement throughout my journey on
this unfamiliar place. To Ma’m Cory that kindly assist us and provide documents and
directions we need with a smile. I would also like to thank my classmates Ma’m Sherryl
Cuya and Ma’m Lynette Claire Durante for their wonderful ‘collaboration’, for they were
always willing to help.
I am extremely thankful to Dr. Gil Teodoro for it would be impossible to conduct
my internship at his school without his permission. He is also fun to talk to for we have
some similarities on our journey. Thank you, Ma’m Jennifer Versoza for helping me find
a suitable critic teacher and always checking on us. I appreciate it for it makes me feel
part of your family at senior high school department.
I would also like to say thanks to my critic teacher, Sir Vincent Taguinod for being
a fun and supportive critic teacher. You always provide insightful comments on what I do.
You teach me to chill in spite of stressful classroom settings on some sections. You also
teach me to be fun when around students and act like one of them or just their big brother.
That strategy really works in most of them and that way they listen more interestingly. I
also thank you for giving me lots of opportunity to grow independently and stand on my
own and deal with matter by myself, that teaches me a lot of invaluable soft skills and that
also enhances many of my weakness and sharpens many of my little strengths. To Sir
Jonathan Villabroza, an English teacher their who happens to be my former classmates
in high school, who also provided support in my stay in the school by lending me
templates of lesson plans and just by talking and sharing what it is be like to teach in a
senior high school in a public school. It sprouted in me more excitement in this journey.
I am extremely grateful to my parents Mama Evelyn and Papa Antonio for their
love, prayers, caring and sacrifices for educating and preparing me for my future. I am
very much thankful to my best friends for their love, understanding, prayers and
continuing support until the end of my stay while practice teaching.
To all my students that made a major part on this journey. The laughs, the
exhaustion, bittersweet moments etc., I learned a lot from you! I love you and thank you!
Finally, my thanks go to all the people who have supported me to complete the
internship directly or indirectly.
