The purpose of the mission and vision statements is to publicly communicate our
purpose and intention, and galvanize our people and efforts toward common
priorities and shared goals. The mission statement addresses our purpose and

reason for being while clearly explaining what we do. The vision statement is an
inspiring, compelling and intentional description of a desired future. Together, they
form the basis for a coherent plan, providing direction and guiding decisions, to

implement the strategic priority areas and goals.
