Since 1975, Urban Pathways has engaged New York City’s most vulnerable residents, people on
the streets or in areas unfit for human habitation, “lighting the path home, one person at a time.”

By utilizing a low-demand, housing first
approach and engaging people where they are, Urban
Pathways ensures that unhoused adults become stable, reclaim control over their lives, and
reconnect to the community. Urban Pathways’ programs incorporate a housing first
                                                                                                          approach to
move individuals from the streets as quickly as possible, while providing support and
            rehabilitative services.

Our programs serve more than 2,000 unique individuals each year, and include:

❖ Seven Outreach Programs throughout New York City.
❖ The Olivieri Drop-In Center in midtown Manhattan, and a new Drop-In Center planned to
open this year in Hell's Kitchen.

❖ Five Safe Haven transitional residences in midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn and the
                 Bronx.

❖ Twelve Extended Stay and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs and the Crossroads
Residence slated to break ground in 2023.
❖ Job Readiness Training for those facing barriers to employment.

Urban Pathways, believing that housing is the single most effective way to end homelessness,

has developed a continuum of care to ensure that individuals have housing which meets their
needs and provides the necessary supports so that they can live fulfilling lives.
