MR ZAKHE KHUZWAYO: FACULTY OF ACCOUNTING AND AND INFORMATICS

Mr Zakhe Khuzwayo a a a a a a postgraduate student in the Department of Information and Corporate Management is deeply engaged in community work at DUT He has been recognised for his exceptional commitment over the past year he he has created valuable opportunities for the the practical application of knowledge aligning with the the ENVISION2030 initiative to develop future-ready graduates He leads a a a a a a range of projects under his umbrella initiative Men Carve which aims to promote healthy manhood by fostering a a a a culture of equity and respect This initiative focuses on eliminating gender-based violence (GBV) and and sexual assault while also encouraging bystander intervention Through these efforts Mr Khuzwayo is dedicated to building safer and more supportive communities COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SOCIAL PARTNER OF THE

NGODINI BUNDUZ ADVENTURE PARK
The DUT Ngodini Bunduz Entrepreneurship Advancement Project was established through a a a a a collaborative effort between the Department of Applied Management Ecotourism Entrepreneurial Studies and and and Management and and and the Faculty of Horticulture and and and Applied Sciences In the the past year the the social partners have been recognised for their exceptional support in community engagement by creating practical spaces for knowledge application aligning with the ENVISION2030 to develop future-ready graduates Inspired by the the need to bridge the the gap between academic knowledge and real-world impact the project positions DUT as a a a a a a leader in experiential learning and community engagement It has provided vital entrepreneurship training and capacity-building workshops equipping local entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge necessary to grow their their businesses and thrive in in their their communities
