ABOUT THE LEGACY ART

The pieces in the Legacy Art section represent
just a few of the hundreds of art works featured in
FASA exhibits over the years. We gathered this
sampler to highlight the diversity of types of fiber

              art over the decades.

ABOUT THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY FASHION SHOW

The FASA Runway Fashion Shows became hugely popular events in the
1990’s. Kay Simpson’s team sent out requests to FASA members for their
creations from the last five decades to be modelled as examples of their
craftsmanship and concepts for art-to-wear. The clothing modeled at the Ex-
hibit’s Opening Reception will not remain on display but will instead be a live,
one-time event that celebrates the best in Fiber Art as fashion.
