Our Entrepreneurs
T his chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America was one of the largest ever. With its motivated staff, this year was
full of active participation and education on
all aspects of business.
The goal of the chapter was to create more
Saving the Earth
COS, which gets involved in earth-saving
and conservation, had a new moderator,
EMiss McGinty. She helped the club get
motivated by starting the year with a very suc
cessful T-shirt fundraiser. The money will be
citing, fast-paced business world. By partici
pating in FBLA, the members gained invaluable
experience in leadership by working with peers,
adults, and other business people in community.
Students became more confident of themselves
as well as of their abilities. President Dave Lap-
iana and Vice-President Tony Tangorra couldn't
have been more satisfied with the accomplish
ments of the group.

flowers and trees. ECOS' primary concern was
to develop environmental awareness within the
student body. To do this, the students plastered
the school walls with colorful posters containing
interesting earth-saving ideas. The group also
invited speakers to talk about environmental
concerns. As a club, ECOS has finally gotten
on its feet as an active and well-organized ac
tivity.
