Post Road Chorus
Happy Summer from Post Road Chorus of Worcester, MA!
The spring was interesting in that some aspects of it made us feel that we were “back to normal”
while others reminded us that we were not there yet. Two booked performances, one in April and
one in May, were canceled, the first by the venue and the second by the chorus, both related to
Covid. We are fortunate to have other opportunities to share our love of singing with others planned
throughout the year.
We are happy to be back to rehearsing in person at Briarwood Nursing Home after two years of
being away from that lovely facility and the wonderful people there. Fortunately, however, we were
able to rehearse (when we could do so in-person) at nearby Salem Covenant Church.

On June 11 , we had many things to celebrate: the city of Worcester’s 300 anniversary, our

th
gratitude to Salem Covenant Church, our “Friends & Family”, and our own 35 anniversary. It felt
great to be together doing what we love and bringing joy to our audience.
