Don’t worry—these buns don’t bite! However, if you’re a vampire you may find them quite
repulsive, since they’re packed with seven cloves of garlic!
INGREDIENTS
For the Red Dough
2 tablespoons very warm water (not hot)
¼ cup milk, room temperature
½ (3½ g) packet active dry yeast (approx. 1⅛ teaspoons)
2 tablespoons butter, softened
½ egg
¼ teaspoon salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon red gel food coloring
1¼ cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
For the Black Dough
