Free transfer of the distal interphalangeal joint to the proximal interphalangeal joint
This patient sustained multidigital trauma, resulting in amputation of the 3rd ray and joint
destruction of the 4th ray. It was decided to perform a free vascularized transfer of the distal
interphalangeal joint from the amputated ray to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the 4th ray.
