• VW Transporter (from 2004 onwards) 2.5 TDI (engine: AXD, AXE, BLJ, BNZ, BPC)
• VW Touareg (model 2003) 2.5 TDI (engine: BAC, BLK, BPD, BPE)
Designed for the loosening/tightening of camshaft sprocket fastening screws.
Reinforced design, however, not suitable for use with an impact wrench.

Setting Gauge for Camshaft, VW-Audi

Suitable for use on VW/Audi 5-cylinder 2.5 TDI Diesel engines; e.g. LT, T4.
This setting gauge allows the user to lock the camshaft without having to remove the
valve cover. Technical Data:

Suitable for use on VW-Audi vehicles equipped with either a 2.7, 3.0, 4.0 or 4.2
TDI Common Rail engine such as VW Touareg, Phaeton and Audi A4, A5 Coupé/
Convertible, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7 etc.
The tool set is designed for the locking/positioning of engine shafts such as camshaft,
injection pump shaft and crankshaft. It also includes tools to lock, position and adjust
the timing belt tensioner.
An indispensable tool kit when replacing a timing belt or performing an engine repair.

Upgrade Kit for KL-0280-29 KA

Applicable to VW 4.9 and 5.0 TDI Pumpe-Düse (unit injector) Diesel engines as
found in VW Phaeton and Touareg etc.

The KL-0280-290 K upgrade kit is designed to be used with the locking tool set
KL-0280-29 K or the KL-0280-29 KA so as to widen their range of application to
cover also the VW Phaeton and Touareg 4.9 and 5.0 TDI engines. Very useful tool set
for for turning the crankshaft and for the locking/positioning of camshaft and
crankshaft. Also includes tools to pre-tension and lock the gear train when setting the
timing on the engine.
