This tool is designed to lock/position the camshaft. Necessary when replacing a
timing belt or during an engine repair.

Locking Tool Set, VW-Audi/Seat/Škoda

Applicable to VW- Audi, Seat, Škoda 4-cylinder 1.9 TDI/SDI engines (except PD).
Ideal for VW Golf (IV 1.9 TDI [110 bhp) with aluminium valve cover.
Designed to lock engine shafts such as camshaft and injection pump shaft when
replacing a timing belt or performing an engine repair.
The KL-0280-103 tool set enables the replacement of the timing belt without having
to remove the aluminium valve cover or the intake manifold.

The valve cover seal has been vulcanised to the valve cover and can, therefore, only be replaced
along with the valve cover. The seal is not available individually.

Camshaft Sprocket Removal Drift
Applicable to VW/Audi 4-cylinder 1.9 TDI engines (110 bhp)
Designed to remove the camshaft sprocket from the camshaft taper. The special
shape of the drift (filler neck in direction of impact) ensures that the impact force is
delivered in the correct axial direction onto the front part of the camshaft sprocket.
