Alternator Combination Socket
For example, suitable for use on BMW 1 Series (F20), X3 (F25); Mercedes A-Class,
Renault 1.9 DTI.
This short two-part alternator combination socket allows for the easy removal and
installation of a overrunning alternator pulley in situ on the vehicle without the need
for removing the alternator. Since the pulley cannot be locked from the outside while
loosening or tightening the central nut, the pulley shaft needs to be counter-held
means of the Torx® T50 socket insert bit during the loosening process.

Alternator Combination Socket, T50
Suitable for use on alternators with overrunning alternator pulley, as found in:
VW-Audi, Seat, Škoda etc.
This alternator combination socket is designed the removal and installation of the
overrunning alternator pulley when replacing an alternator or a pulley.
Since the pulley cannot be counter-held from the outside while loosening or
tightening the central nut, the pulley shaft needs to be locked by means of the Torx®
T50 socket during the loosening process.

Alternator Combination Socket (waf 10mm)
Suitable for use on alternators with overrunning alternator pulley as found on
Volvo etc.
This tool is required for the removal and replacement of overrunning alternator
pulleys in situ on the vehicle. No need to remove the alternator from the vehicle using
this socket. Since the pulley cannot be counter-held from the outside while
slackening or tightening the central nut, the socket insert (waf 10mm) is needed to
lock the pulley shaft during the loosening process.
