Test Tool Kit for Charge-Air Systems

Universally suitable for charge-air systems equipped with air tubes/hoses that are
connected by means of a click system as can be found in new generation vehicles.
The KL-0124-52 K test kit is designed to quickly, professionally and safely check
charge-air systems for leaks. The sealing- and adaptor plugs allow the complete
charge-air system to be squeezed off and pressurized with the aid of a tyre inflator.
Seal tightness checks can then be performed by means of a leak detector spray, but
leaks can also be detected by leak-generated noises or a drop in pressure. Any
leakage on connections, tubes, hoses, charge-air coolers or turbochargers can quickly
and easily be detected and localised using this tool kit.
The special design of the plugs ensure that they are securely held in place throughout
the whole leak-checking procedure. All the plugs from this kit are made of solid
special material and specifically designed to accurately fit the connectors of the
respective vehicle charge-air system. The kit is composed of 6 pairs of plugs (NW26,
NW32, NW40, NW45, NW50, NW55), a pressure relief valve, an extension hose (for
narrow designs), and is supplied in a plastic storage case.

Suitable for the pressure capsule with charge pressure actuator position sensor
at the exhaust gas turbocharger fitted to 2.0 Common Rail Diesel engines. For
example found in: Golf VI (5K), Golf Plus (52), Jetta (1K), Passat (3C), Passat CC
(35), Scirocco (13), Eos (1F), Tiguan (5N), Transporter T5 (from 2010 upwards, 7J,
7H, 7G, 7F) and Audi A3 (8P).
This tool set is designed for the professional loosening, adjustment and tightening of
the control rod when removing/installing the pressure capsule along with the charge
pressure actuator position sensor.
Note: If the control rod is not loosened, adjusted and tightened correctly, there is a risk of damage
to the pressure capsule.
