WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM?
Screened blood in fridge was not labelled and not arranged according to expiry date .
WHAT WAS CHANGED, IMPROVED OR IMPLEMENTED?
1. Labelling each of blood stock tray according to blood group
2. Arrange blood according to expiry date using FEFO system (first expiry, first out) – blood bag with nearest
expiry date will be arranged at the front.

WHAT WAS THE BENEFITS?
1. More systematic and organized.
2. Avoid mistake in taking the blood for pre transfusion testing.
3. Avoid unnecessary expired red blood cells.
