complete the worksheet. Give guidance on how to gather and record
information.
Some of the work could be completed as Creative Writing in an English lesson
or for homework.

Way to Work
1. Review previous lessons, especially work done on the Roman towns.
2. Show pictures or DVD/videos of Roman villas. Children may like to bring
in pictures of their homes for a display to compare Roman and modern
homes.
3. Read the section from the top of the worksheet then let the children
work in pairs to compile a list of features of Roman and modern homes.
