Way to Work
1. Review previous lessons, especially work done on the Roman towns.
2. Show pictures or DVD/videos of Roman villas. Children may like to bring in pictures of
their homes for a display to compare Roman and modern homes.
3. Read the section from the top of the worksheet then let the children work in pairs to
compile a list of features of Roman and modern homes.
