                                                  PARAGRAPHS 2

        Truth to Teach (Source)

 God is a God of order.

 Our written work should be ordered to serve the readers.

 Paragraphs bring order to written work.

 A paragraph is a group of sentences which is usually about one topic.

        Way to Work (Means)

           1. Review the previous lesson.

           2. Share and discuss the paragraphs written in the last lesson.

           3. Show other leaflets or brochures to let the children identify the paragraphs.

           4. Explain that, on occasions, children get paragraphs in the wrong order so that the
                writing seems confused.

           5. Explain that the worksheet has paragraphs which are in the wrong order so the

children have to change the numbers of the paragraphs. They also have to punctuate
                the fable written by Aesop.

           6. Let the children try the worksheet.

           7. Gather back to discuss the order of the paragraphs.

        Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

           1. The children should understand that paragraphs bring order to writing and serve the
                readers.

           2. They should be using paragraphs more effectively in their own writing.
