The Champions of Learning Award spotlights outstanding individuals and groups that strive to support kids in the community. Mr. Pilyih has done great things for Center Elementary School and the District as he continuously incorporates innovative learning opportunities into his curriculum and classroom. “Doing this stuff just doesn’t work within the hours of your classroom... it’s all day, every day.” He does it for his family and for the kids of Plum. Plum is more than what the public sees and S.P.I.R.I.T is our way of making a difference.

   Pilyih Wins Champions of Learning Award
Mr. J.R. Pilyih (@jrpilyih) won the Champions of Learning Award in the K-6 Educators category! With family, friends, colleagues, and administrators supporting and applauding his achievement, the Consortium for Public Education and United Way of South- western Pennsylvania presented the momentous award on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
