This Learner’s Guide contains all the Management in Sporting Organisations
Training Program materials. Participants should work through the modules in this
guide and complete the activities and assessment tasks to gain their Management
in Sporting Organisations Training Program qualification.

Management in Sporting Organisations Training Program
assessment

Assessment for participants in the Management in Sporting Organisations Training
Program has 2 parts:
1. Participate in the training program and do the activities
2. Satisfactorily complete the assessment task/s in each module.

Assessment steps:
• All participants must do the assessment tasks. The written tasks will be
collected by the course presenter for assessment.
• Your work will be assessed and you will then be given feedback on your
performance.
• If you complete the Learner’s Guide by yourself, give the whole book to
your tutor for assessment. The assessment tasks and tools will be forwarded
to the OSEP Coordinator as a record of your skills. The rest of your guide will be
given back to you as a resource.
• If you complete the module in a classroom (face-to-face manner), then you only
need to give the assessment section of each module to your presenter.

If it is not possible for you to write your assessment response, other ways of
assessing responses need to be found. These may include dictating the answers
into a tape recorder, the tutor/presenter writing your responses for you, or if no
other way can be found answers may be given orally.
