Our “Mistape”

                                             Trials & Tribulations

It took 3 trials to get to our current Filluv product
design. Initially, our first Filluv case design had an
interior composed of duct tape. Our intended
purpose for creating a duct tape bag interior was for
product durability. However, the duct tape increased
company expenses which in return negatively
impacted our stakeholders. Due to this drawback,
our company decided to conduct a second product
design with a denim jean bag interior. The denim

bag interior sustained a low cost rate, which
benefited our company in the long run. Towards the
middle phase of our company, we noticed a slow
production rate with creating the denim jean Filluv
cases. Without a primary denim jean donor, resulted
in inconsistent denim jean supply. Additionally, one
bag was produced per denim jean, which increased
labor production to cut more fabric per bag. To
remedy this situation, our company decided to
broaden our fabric choices to sturdy fabrics like
curtains. Curtains contained the durability to provide
shape to the bag and had the length to produce 2 Takayoshi Mori holding our “mistape.”
bags for each set of curtains.
