Specialist skills knowledge and experience

1. A demonstrated interest in teaching / training including the ability to research,
select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools (including
effective use of technology).
2. Capacity to work independently and be flexible in delivery of training programs and
work in remote locations and/or challenging training environments.

3. Knowledge in cultural sensitivity, and gender equity principles, with the ability to
customise aspects of training to the local needs and conditions.
4. Capacity to establish networks, involvement in professional associations and ability
to access expertise to enhance training materials and delivery of courses.

5. Prepared to assist in the preparation of programs, assessments and learning
materials, ensuring they appropriately address the needs of the participants.
6. Effective communication, interpersonal and coordination skills relevant to a learning
environment (including use of technology) and an appreciation of administrative
requirements required for the coordination of training.
7. Demonstrated ability, or the capacity to provide support and advice to participants
of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities.

8. Ability and capacity to work outside core hours of business as demanded by OSEP
9. Ability to develop relationships with industry stakeholders and engage with industry
associations to benefit the aims and goals of OSEP.
