Planning the Body
The body of the presentation should include all information that is relevant to the needs of
the learner, in a manner that is interesting and reflects adult learning principles.
To keep the learner’s attention:
‘Chunk’ your information (by using topics and sub-topics)
Consider how much information to give in one session (don’t overload)
Make sure you have a logical flow
Ask questions of the participants to involve them
Stay on track and avoid getting too far off topic during discussions – remember the
Adult Learning Principles
Stimulate – Be enthusiastic to encourage the same from learners/participants.
