Executive Summary














      Ginefsaga is a Junior Achievement company sponsored by Title Guaranty of Guam. The
      company name, Ginefsaga, is CHamoru for the word serenity. Ginefsaga chose this name
      because our wood pieces represent a serene locale, the beach, and we wanted customers to
      feel serene when having the product.


      Ginefsaga aims to produce pieces representing our island, our environment, and to signify
      the importance of preserving nature through upcycled wood pieces. The company wanted
      to progress towards an eco-conscious community by communicating the importance of
      protecting the nature of Guam.


      Ginefsaga products are handmade, culturally-represented, wood boards with an ocean resin
      design. They are about eight to ten inches in diameter and one inch thick. The ocean design
      is meant to depict Guam's ocean sceneries and the natural color of the wood represents the

      sand found on our beaches. The boards allow people to have a "piece" of Guam wherever
      they may be. The local design and source of our materials allows us to be connected to the
      roots and heritage of Guam.


      Despite the limitations this year, everybody was able to take away many skills, such as
      gaining hands-on experience of pitching and selling a product, most notably at Ginefsaga's
      display booths at Pay-less Supermarkets. Even though we were in a virtual environment this
      year, we partnered with local businesses to promote Ginefsaga products and were featured
      on news outlets to reach a wider audience. Additionally, we were also taught the meaning of
      giving back to the community, by doing cleanups and donating to causes that align with the
      company's mission and vision. With everyone's hard work, we were able to succeed and
      surpass Ginefsaga's vision. Although we were plagued with logistical challenges and
      uncertainties in the early stages of the company, we managed to persevere and conquer the
      challenges to roll out the pieces and reach the sales goals.
