Conclusion

It is clear that Coffs Harbour is ideally suited to host the Australian
Touch Association’s showcase event with its central location, facilities
and infrastructure. It is clear that sponsors are keen for this to occur.
It is clear that local support for the event is high and so too is player
                        support.

Hosting the event in a regional area will also lift the profile of the sport in
regional areas and even attract extra government funding through the
Department of Transport and Regional Services grants programs.

It is also very evident that the NSW Touch Association and the Northern
NSW Touch Association are qualified to manage such an event, with
the history of success the 2 agencies have in hosting the world’s
largest touch football tournament each year (the NSW State Cup).

Ideally, the event should be staged in Coffs Harbour for at least 3 years
for the event to grow in status and for sponsors, franchises and players
                        to plan in advance.
