2021년 한 해 동안 싱가포르한국국제학교 학생들의 활동과 성장의 모습을 담은
‘YEAR BOOK’ 발간을 축하합니다.
싱가포르한국국제학교는 지난 1993년 개교 이래, 교직원과 학생들의 노력은 물론,
교민사회의 적극적인 관심과 지원에 힘입어 대학진학에서도 좋을 결과를 내는 등
명실상부한 글로벌 우수학교로 자리매김해 나가고 있습니다.
2년째 코로나-19로 어려운 상황 속에서도 우리 학생들은 실망하거나 낙담하지
않고, 변화에 빠르게 적응하며 온라인 수업과 다양한 프로그램을 통해 이 위기를
현명하게 잘 극복하고 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 여러분들의 모습을 담은 ‘YEAR
BOOK’ 발간이 가능했을 겁니다.
우리 학생들 모두가 학교 비전인 ‘한국의 창을 열고 세계를 누벼라.’라는 말처럼
본인이 가지고 있는 꿈과 열정을 가지고 세계시민 의식을 지닌 글로벌 인재로
성장하기를 응원합니다.
앞으로도 싱가포르한국국제학교가 계속 발전해나가기를 기원하며 다시 한 번
2021학년도 ‘YEAR BOOK’ 발간을 진심으로 축하합니다.
Follow Your Passion, Realise Your Dream
My sincere congratulations to the Singapore Korean International School on
the publication of the 2021 Year Book. I found myself moved and inspired
while reading through this publication, which encapsulates the activities and
achievements of the students over the past year.
Since its establishment in 1993, the Singapore Korean International School
has firmly established itself as an educational institution of the greatest calibre
through the tremendous effort of its faculty and students, as well as the
steadfast support from the Korean community. Achieving an excellent record
of university admissions demonstrates that all these concerted efforts have
come to fruition.
Despite the difficult situation posed by the second year of the Covid-19
pandemic, our students have not become disappointed or discouraged and
adapted quickly to changes and overcome this crisis sensibly through online
classes and other various programs. Hence, it has been possible to publish the
GO Beyond Korea, ‘YEAR BOOK’ that is filled with your stories.
Embracing the school motto, “Go beyond Korea, Explore the World!”, I wish
Explore the World! all the students of the Singapore Korean International School success in all
their endeavors. I hope that they carry their dreams and passions as they
continue to grow to become global citizens of the world.
It is my warmest wish that the Singapore Korean International School will
continue to grow to new heights in the future. Congratulations once again
on the issuance of such an inspiring 2021 Year Book.
