CYBER BULLYING
CYBER BULLYING is when a person is harassed,
threatened, embarrassed or humiliated by another person
or a group of people using a mobile phone or the internet.
It is usually done by:
• Emails that can be
threatening or
upsetting
• Instant messages
• Chat Rooms
• Social networking
• Mobile phones
• Interactive games
• Sending viruses
to mobiles or PCs
• Abusing personal
information like photos etc.
CYBER BULLYING AND THE LAw
Whilst bullying is not against the law, harassment
or threatening behaviour can be.
If someone is bullying you or threatening you,
something can be done to stop them and
