Following the success of our first Open
Triples Competition earlier this year we
have now fixed the date for next years
competition, which will take place at Ship-
ton Bellinger Village Centre (North Hamp-
shire) on Saturday 19th March.
This is a triples competition and an
all day event. The event will be limited to
12 teams. We have 3 mats at the club
and each team will play at least 4
matches during the day, more details on
the format will be available nearer the event. To reserve a place in the competition contact
bellingerbowls@btinternet.com or Robin on 01980 - 629889. Tea & Coffee available all day, bring
your own lunch.
Shipton Bellinger is a village on the Hampshire/ Wiltshire borders, about 7 miles from the
Stonehenge World Heritage site. We are close to the small towns of Tidworth and Amesbury, and
are on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Our location within Hampshire is indicated on the map
You can find us in a valley in a finger of Hampshire reaching out into Wiltshire (for the tech-
nically minded, OS grid ref SU230454 or approximately 1°42'W 51°12'N). We are very close to
the junction of the North-South A338.
