The Future of
Investigations Holidays make for being very busy, but I want to challenge you with
Matt Spaier something.
As we all know, 2020 will go down as a year of major changes to us
socially and business-wise. And we still aren't sure how 2021 is
going to go. Some of our work is much harder than ever now that
the subjects of our investigation aren't moving around. And getting
out of the office to spend some time meeting up with fellow
investigators isn't something we can do right now. The lack of
human contact is impacting everyone.
What we can do is take a moment and reach out to friends and
associates and ask them if they need any help. I'm not talking about
asking for more business, I'm talking about the stuff you don't get
paid for: Being there to let them vent a little. Making sure they're
not alone for the holidays. Letting them know someone is thinking
Training: about them.
Empathy and gratitude help build community and keep us grounded.
January 6, 2021 I challenge you to reach out to at least a couple of friends and
associates and ask if they need anything. Make a point of listening
Child Exploitation intently. Let's not have any of us slip between the cracks this holiday
and Human season.
