after, he lost his mother too and, as
an orphan, he was taken care of and
brought up by the Liu family.
Ancestor Yan Yung Hsien was born
during the reign of Emperor Sung
Chai Ting. His espoused wife came
from the Cheng clan and he fathered
two sons, who were named:-
1. Yan Jen Ying and
2. Yan Jen Szu.
At the age of 35, he returned to
his hometown in Shang Chang
walled-city, Li Jen village, Shih An
administrative Unit, 11th capital,
Yung Chun County.
On his demise, he was buried
beside his wife's grave located at Pien
Shu Chien Chih Ching village, Ho
Feng administrative unit, 24th
capital, Yung Chun County.
Forefather Yan Jen Ying and his
biography, an 11th generation
descendant
Forefather Yan Jen Ying was the
eldest son and heir apparent of
ancestor Yan Yung Lao in order of
birth. He lived in Li Jen village, Shih
An administrative unit, 11th capital,
Yung Chun County.
He became unwell at the age of
30 when his mansion was broken
into and ransacked by bandits. He
and his whole family were held to
ransom. The bandits threatened to
kill the whole household, young and
old. They tortured his body with
knives, day and night by refusing
him any sleep until his eyes became
swollen. He had to beg the intruders
to spare his life and eventually,
secured the release of his family by
giving them, gold ingots and bolts of
silk. His health suffered as a result
of this painful experience.
A few years later, he moved his
whole household to live in Min Kang
village, Mu Jen administrative unit,
capital, Yung Chun County (now-a-
days known as Shang Chang
district).
He married a maiden from the
Yang clan and from this marriage
alliance; seven sons were born into
the family by his espoused wife.
Offspring of forefather Yan Jen Ying,
to carry on the Yan family name in
the 12th genealogical line.
Forefather Yan Jen Ying and his
legally married wife, with the
surname Yang, became the parents
of seven sons born from this wedlock.
Only the names of the seven sons
were handed down on record without
any mention of their academic,
marital and future life. Jen Ying

Forefather
named his seven sons, in order of
their birth as:-
1. Yan Chen Fu,
2. Yan Te Shun,
3. Yan San Yu,
4. Yan Wu Tse,
5. Yan His Chih,
6. Yan Mei Ko, and
7. Yan Cheng Ko.
