"MOONSHOT" Our Spirit of Detroit Motor Sport program
will use the excitement of world-class motor sports to capture the
attention of a young audience. This will be done through guest
speakers (e.g., members of the Spirit of Detroit Motorsport team and
it's sponsors), a multimedia presentation and the development of
the racecar.

The Spirit of Detroit "Motorsport Moonshot"
is a 36-month plan which will also develop
a black race car with a driver and crew that

reflect the best of African
America to race in the 24-Hours of Le- APOLLO &

Mans. The program is designed to
create engineers and engineering Spacelab/Space Shuttle
technicians for high-tech jobs. The pro-

gram will qualify techs for jobs not Sprint/Marathon
only in the automotive field, but also in
aviation. State-of-the-art race cars 2023-2024

use the same technology and
materials as state-of-the-art aircrafts.
Each phase will last 12-18 months.
