or is unable to provide certifying documentation within three (3) days of his/her first day of
             employment will not be permitted to work until such documentation is provided and/or the Employee
             may be terminated.  If the eligibility of a current Employee is due to expire and cannot be re-verified,
             he/she may be separated from employment.


             Applicants for employment may be subject to E-Verify, background checks and drug screening.

             All information provided on the employment application will be subject  to verification and
             referencing.  Any applicant or Employee who intentionally provides false, misleading or erroneous
             information on an Employment application or any other employment-related documentation will be
             ineligible for employment with  the LSBA, or if a current Employee, he/she will be subject to
             disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

             The Louisiana State Bar Association is committed to providing its applicants, Employees, volunteers,
             contractors, vendors, visitors  and Members with a professional work environment, free of
             discrimination, harassment and retaliation.  Discrimination, harassment or retaliation of any kind by
             anyone, including any manager, supervisor, coworker, vendor, contractor, volunteer, customer or other
             visitor of the LSBA, directed at an applicant, Employee, vendor, contractor, volunteer, customer or
             other visitor of the LSBA, is against LSBA policy and will not be tolerated.  This policy recognizes
             that discrimination, harassment and retaliation on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, age,
             national origin, marital or familial status, sexual preference, disability, pregnancy, genetic information,
             military or veteran status or any other protected classification under the  LSBA’s policies or under
             applicable federal, state or local law subverts the mission of the LSBA.

             An individual who believes he or she has been subjected to, or who has reasonable cause to believe
             another individual has been subjected to, discrimination, harassment or retaliation must promptly
             report such incidents so that prompt and appropriate action can be taken by the LSBA.


             Discrimination
