Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this 55th Annual Freedom Fund Celebration. As
my home community, your chapter holds a special place in my heart.
Your theme, "Passion Led Us Here!...Our Passion. Our Call. Our Action" is so fitting for these
historic times. I applaud your efforts to bring the community together in support of the Lansing
Branch and its mission to promote social justice in our communities, schools, and workplaces. I
know this event involved incredible hard work and planning and I applaud the efforts of those
that made it possible.

Thank you for reminding all of us that freedom should never be taken for granted. I hope you
have an inspirational evening.
