ISSUE 10 | FEBRUARY 2022
Dear Parents,
I hope that you are enjoying a great Half Term. The first half of the Spring term was busy with lots of events, lots of hard work and lots of fun. It was extremely positive, but it felt as though children and staff were tired and in need of a week off. January and February are always challenging with the cold, wet, mud, short days and seasonal coughs and colds. Spring is just around the corner now and we look forward to welcoming children back on Monday 21st for what I know will be an action-packed and wonderful second half of term.
The following pages should serve to offer a round-up of some of what we have been getting up to so far this term as well as highlighting some important dates and considerations for the next half of term. As you know, we are very excited about our concert in Worcester Cathedral on Thursday 10th March in memory of previous Head of Music, Martin Schellenberg. This event will be one to remember with all of our current Prep pupils as well as staff, governors, Old Abberlians, previous parents and friends of the school. Each family with children currently at the school has two free tickets reserved and additional tickets can be purchased for £15 each by clicking here. We would also be extremely grateful to receive donations, which will help us
cover costs and generate funds for the Martin Schellenberg Music Trust. Parents have been written to and Mr Dunham provides more information later in this Newsletter. Please do make a note of this event in your diaries as we are keen to have as many parents and friends of the school with us as possible!
