Emergency Procedures
In order to maintain this commitment and minimise the consequences associated with foreseeable emergencies emergency plans have been devised, a copy of which are in your site manual which your line manager will provide to you.
It is your responsibility to follow the processes as detailed
in order to minimise harm or damage to property. Where
the process cannot be followed employees should take all reasonable precautions and seek clari cation, where possible, with line management.
Employees should inform the relevant persons detailed in the emergency processes as soon as possible in order to reduce the impact of the emergency and allowing others time to prepare for other adverse consequences.
In addition, in the event of an emergency sta are encouraged not to engage in conversation with the press other than to take their details and forward to an appropriate member of sta .
