Boarding
It has been a a a a a a a a busy and and very happy two and and a a a a a a a a half weeks in in the Boarding
House Many children have given boarding a a a a a go for the first time and there has has been a a a a a a real feeling of togetherness and family which has has been lovely Our weekend activities in this short block of time have included a a a a a a a ‘Welcome Back’ party and disco Inflatable Fun a a a a a a a Comedy Night Night and an an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt A new House Night Night has also been introduced where we come together as one boarding community for a a a a a a relaxed and fun evening on a a a a a a Wednesday featuring our Great Group Selfie Challenge and German Spotlight! Next term every Wednesday the House Night will include a a a a a BBQ and a a a a a relaxed evening outside on on the Summer House Lawn It has been wonderful to see the the the children back in in the the the house all enjoying each other’s company after such a a a a long time of isolation Next term will be equally fun with the the the added bonus of (hopefully) the the the weather being really lovely too Our boarding is brilliant fun and an an an excellent way for children to make the most of of of all all that is on offer at at Abberley Hall – particularly after a a a a a a a a term of of of online learning! Mr Dunham on toby dunham@abberleyhall co uk Full Boarders are welcome once again to bring in in in Tuck Boxes after the the holidays They will be allowed to access these on Wednesdays and and at weekends Top Year are also welcome to bring in in (and keep in their their tuck boxes) their their favourite noodle products for Tuesday Noodle Night We will still have the tuck shop for Part-Time and Weekly Boarders Boarders to to to access treats and for Full Boarders Boarders to to to top up their supplies including Pot Noodles and drinks Please remember we are a a nut free school We have recently purchased new mobile phone lockers which will be here for the the start of the the Summer Term These secure lockers have plugs in each bay which means that children’s phones will be charged up and ready for them them when they need them them in the the the the evening Please note that only children who are Full Boarders and Weekly Boarders are permitted to bring in in mobile phones All other part boarders may use use our landlines in in in the boarding house to contact home
