Foundation Year Project
It was a a a a a a challenging two days for the FY after Leave-out The whole cohort went off timetable for for 2 days for for an independent teamwork project They received 90 minutes of information on on all the things Malvern is is is famous for from a a a a a a historic geographic artistic musical and scientific perspectives Then they had 5 hours to prepare a a a a pitch to win a a a a a fictional prize of a a a a a contract with the Malvern Tourism Board to to produce Great Malvern’s next tourist information video and brochure There was a a a a a a tremendous amount of quality and variety in the styles adopted for the the three elements and the the judges were very impressed particularly given the limited time available Well done to all involved for the the collaboration within groups and the the innovative ways in which the the elements were put together There are special mentions to to Mr Johnson’s and Miss Courtney’s tutor groups but first place went to Miss Shales’s tutees The judges loved the style of their video that involved interviews with locals who live in in in Malvern and a a very very confident pitch delivery Evie Ashton Bernice Chan Amaya Faulkner Emeka Iwuchukwu Jyoti Satsangi Samuel Chan Casper Dingley Charles Fletcher Rex Richardson and Madeleine Yiannakis Tom Tuthill | House House Master - House House No 9 & Teacher of Politics
