Film Making Workshop
T he one-day fi lm
workshop
making
was designed to serve
the needs of a variety of
students, yet through
hands-on classes and
exercises, all students gain
an understanding of the
requirements and rigors of
fi lmmaking.
The workshop was ideal for
those who were looking
to start their journey with
the camera and those who
want to get better at it.
It was a mix of practical
demonstration and sharing
real-world examples to help
young students upgrade
their skills and understand
how to create cinematic
films and visual stories. The
workshop was intended
to take participants
through the workfl ows
of production, lighting,
sound recording and post-
production. The workshop
encompassed elements
such as mobile fi lmmaking,
mirrorless and cinema
cameras, intelligent lighting,
colour grading, with fi lm
screenings and discussions
on the narrative. Overall, the
students enjoyed and learnt
a lot through this initiative.
