Welcome to the Australian Maccabi Pan American Games

Being a participant of the 2023 Pan America Maccabi Games is a privilege and an experience that will
never be forgotten. You will meet many new people and be a part of a unique and memorable
event. We trust you will have an extremely positive experience, and on your return home you are
able to convey to all what the Maccabi spirit is all about.
The 2023 Australian Pan America Maccabi Games Team is the largest team to ever leave our shores
for a Pan American Games. From the outset, our objective has been to focus on the athlete’s and
supporters needs. All our planning, discussions and decisions are aimed at ensuring that you have
the best possible experience.

In this manual, you will find comprehensive information about; travel, safety, security,
medical/physiotherapy/sport psychology, pre-games, acclimatisation, and hints to make you a more
knowledgeable and a better prepared team member.

This manual is designed to help you in your efforts to do great things and strive for a personal best
