Amazing True Stories: Witold Pilecki

Everyone knows that life in Nazi concentration camps was truly hell, and the Auschwitz camp was the
largest of the concentration and extermination camps.
Witold Pilecki, a 39-year-old veteran of the Polish-Soviet War and member of the resistance, volunteered
to be imprisoned at Auschwitz to secretly help the poor people imprisoned by the Nazis. He witnessed the
horrible treatment that each prisoner received. His reports described the early experiments conducted on
