Closing (5-10 minutes)
 At the end gather students for closing.
 Ask students if they have any questions.
 Ask the student to turn to their neighbor and tell them two things they learned today, ask them if they would
              like to share.
 Ask one last time what they can do to help bees? Plant Flowers!!

           Assessment:

 Before the program, conduct a pre-course survey and ask the students:
 What they already KNOW about bees?
 What they WONDER about bees?
 What they want to LEARN about bees?

Consider making a “KWL” (know, wonder, learn) board, and bring it to the classroom in a “pre-visit” a week or
two before your lesson. This will get them thinking about bees and excited for the program. Give each student
two sticky notes for what they “know” and what they want to “learn” about bees.

Post-course, ask the students what they “learned” about bees, have them fill out two sticky notes, and post them
to the KWL board to complete the lesson. You can do this on-site, or a day or two after the lesson (back in the
           classroom).
